Yasmine Djellal advises the governments, multilateral institutions, foundations and companies whose work depends on being understood across borders, in international affairs, economic growth and international development.
She founded Third Culture Comms after nearly two decades at the senior levels of institutional communications. As Senior Communications Officer in the World Bank Group’s Office of the Senior Vice President and General Counsel, she shaped communications strategy at the institution’s highest levels, for work spanning Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and Latin America and the Caribbean.
She went on to direct communications at Nathan Associates and to lead corporate and external communications strategy at The Cadmus Group, two U.S. Government contractors.
Her edge is range. She works fluently in Arabic, English, French and Spanish, and moves between ministries, boardrooms, newsrooms and negotiating tables without losing the thread.
She is the author of The Narrative Power Project, an analytical publication on narrative power, governance and geopolitics.
